Privacy policy
LAST UPDATED · 19 OCTOBER 2026This policy explains what data Very Own Club (VOC) collects, what it uses it for and what rights you have. We’ve written it plainly; if anything isn’t clear, get in touch.
This translation is provided for convenience; if it differs from the Portuguese version, the Portuguese version prevails.
01Who we are
VOC is a management platform for EA SPORTS FC Clubs teams, available at veryown.club. We are the controller of the data described in this policy.
02What data we collect
Account data: name, email and password (stored encrypted).
Club data: squad, player profiles, matches, results, stats, attendance, members, roles and published content. This data is entered by the club and belongs to the club.
Notes your club's coaching staff write about your performance on a given day (the text and whether it was positive or something to improve). Only the members the club gives that permission can see them, and so can you, when whoever writes one chooses to show it to you.
Technical data: access logs, device and browser type, used for security and to keep the service running.
Optional player profile data, if you fill it in: photo, nicknames, gamertag, nationality, date of birth, phone number, Discord and social links.
In the app: the phone's notification identifier (only if you allow notifications) and the images you upload, such as photos, crests and screenshots of matches used to read the stats.
03What we use the data for
To create and manage your account, show you the clubs you belong to and send the notifications you asked for, such as attendance reminders.
To publish the club’s public page, with only what the club decides to publish.
To improve the product, using aggregated data that doesn’t identify you.
04Legal basis
We process data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), on the basis of your consent where we ask for it, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
05Who we share it with
We don’t sell data. We only share it with providers who help us deliver the service, such as hosting and email delivery, under contract and with the same data protection obligations.
Club data is visible to that club’s members according to each member’s role.
06How long we keep it
We keep data while the account or the club is active. When you delete your account or club, we delete the data within a reasonable period, unless we are legally required to keep it.
07Deleting your account or your data
In Very Own Club (VOC) you can delete just some of your data, keeping the account, or the whole account.
Delete some data only: in the app or on the web, under More → My profile → Edit my details, you can remove your photo, nicknames, contact details, date of birth, bio and social links. To leave a club: More → My account → My clubs → Leave (your attendance answers in that club are deleted). For any other data, write to info@veryown.club; we reply within 30 days.
Delete your account: in the app, More → My account → Delete my account; on the web, app.veryown.club → My account → Delete my account. We ask for your password to confirm. If you own a club with other members, first hand the club over to someone else in the club settings. If you can't sign in, ask for deletion at info@veryown.club.
What is deleted and what stays: when you delete your account, we delete your name, email, password, notifications, the phone's notification identifiers and your attendance answers, and you leave every club. Staying with the club, as club data: your player profile and match stats, no longer linked to you and without your contact details, and the news you published, signed as “Deleted account”. The coaching staff's notes about you also stay with your player profile, and the club can delete them; the notes you wrote stay with the club without your name.
Timing: deleted data leaves the service immediately. Daily backups are kept for 14 days and then replaced.
08Your rights
You can request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to certain processing. You can also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
